Mr. Boodey,

Could you email me the last three NHDOT inspections on the Hinsdale-Brattleboro route 119 bridges? The ones your agency employees actually completed.

Sincerely,

Mike Mulligan

Basically the summary. I believe you have to go down to Concord to see the actual report. Maybe a two week notice and appointment to see the report. Very inconvenient. Why can't I just google the bridge name and a list of all bridge inspections come up I have access? This restricted access is how the they protect the corruption at the bridge agency. I am going to email the bridge chief to get the last NHDOT inspection. I'll bet their document system is built in the stone age.

So what is going on. NH poorly funds their NHDOT. The politicians and NHDOT official divert their precious resources to their favored bridge or transportation interest. For the bridges, they falsify bridge inspection to divert money towards their favorite interest. You scratch my back and I will scratch your back. They are trading money, promotions and political favors towards their ends...

***So all the officials are in the shadows in their smoke filled dark rooms making their dirty deals, coverups and massive document destruction. I know in the hearts of  all these officials they know this bridge is extremely unstable and unsafe. It could collapse right now! It is "Hinsdale's family killer bridge" as I noted in the past.

From when the officials determination this bridge is unsafe days ago and their final determination to shutdown the bridge, the public disclosure...what about all the people who crossed this bridge? It is 10,000 cars crossing the bridge every day. Not every car has one person in it. It is moral and ethical to allow all these people to cross this extremely dangerous bridge?

Should you at least warn the drivers by a putting sign up: "This is a extremely unsafe and unstable bridge". "Pass at your own risk". "The NHDOT is in the process of making determinations if this bridge is unsafe".

Requesting Help From Governor Sununu

Please help me reform the NHDOT bridge inspection department.

There has been widespread falsification with bridge inspection reports.

Declare a investigation of the bridge department. Prosecute everyone involved with falsification on NH Docs.

Wipe out management and bring in new blood.

We need comprehensive, complete and accurate inspections throughout the state. More so for old bridges. And the inspection reports and current bridge pictures should be easily assessable to the public.

We need a fully transparent bridge complaint/concern process. There would a summation of a concern by phone placed on the internet and a form on the internet. All concerns should be placed on the internet and inerasable.

The basic theme is the NHDOT has been saying for years our bridges are safe. I have submitted evidence that contradict the NHDOT assertions. The degradations are a long term process. If you had the identical areas pictured up like what I have done taken five years ago and then current pictures...you couldn't tell then apart. For at least the last five years this bridge has been extremely unsafe. We are lucky multitudes of people are not dead form this debacle.

This is our time to comprehensively reform the NHDOT bridge inspection program. And if any federal monies are involved with NH bridge inspection process, this is a US felony!!!

Mike's Completed NHDOT Five Year Inspection On The Brattleboro-Hinsdale Bridge III

I took this in my kayak yesterdays. It was windy and small waves. It was very difficult to take picture with my cell phone.

I would say 40% of the cross arms were broken. It is going to be a big job to repair this...

Hindale/Brattleboro Bridge: NHDOT Abandons Inspections Activities On Brat Bridge, As It Is too Damaged To Continue

Grave consequences to Hinsdale!!!

Inspection was way less than 1/4 completed when abandoned.

( I took this picture yesterday of the inspection area from the Connecticut River at about 7 pm)

Just packed up and left.

Bridge inspection fraud and corruption was going for decades!
